Server Rules

n00bfrag has certain rules in place to ensure everyone playing has fun, anyone breaking these rules will not go un-noticed. In most cases you will be warned, then kicked then banned. Come back and do it again will result in a longer ban possibly even permanent.

The first group of rules are "General Community Rules" which will apply to all of our game servers.

The second group are rules which apply to a certain game.

Please note: You must abide by all these rules or face the necessary punishment.

General Community Rules (Apply to all of our game servers)

01) Harassing, abusing or general flaming of players.
02) Spamming (both on normal and voice chat).
03) Advertising other servers or communities.
04) Accusing players of cheating (use @ instead to contact an admin).
05) Sexism.
06) Irresponsible behaviour.
07) Having a pornographic, abusive or racist spray (where sprays are enabled).
08) Stats rigging.
09) Bad language (swearing, abuse etc) on both normal and voice chat.
10) Sky walking.
11) Bunnyhopping (Continuously jumping in a certain way to make you move faster than running).
12) Generally disrupting the server.
13) Rate hacking (having a latency of 1).
14) Team attacking.
15) Impersonating admins.
16) Chat (both normal and voice) must be in English only. Refusing to use English will result in you being silenced.
17) Having a blank name will result in an automatic permanent ban.
18) Advertising cheat sites will result in an automatic permanent ban.
19) Attempting to crash any server will result in an automatic ban (via plugin).
20) Using more than 1 player to boost to higher places on maps.
21) Map exploits.
22) Ghosting will not be tolerated. Ghosting is when you and a friend are communicating outside of the game via VOIP programs to tell each other where opponents are located.

Also in addition to the community rules the following rules apply to our Counter-Strike: Source servers:

01) Use any script other than buy scripts or communication scripts
02) Buy a weapon which is disallowed
03) ‘Nade’ spam (To buy more than 1 HE grenade, 1 Smoke grenade and 2 Flashbangs in any one round)
04) Teamflashing/Spawn flashing
05) Retrying after death persistently.
06) Block other players.
07) Illegal defusing (defusing the bomb when you cannot physically see the bomb eg. through walls).
08) Spawn camping - Terrorists have the objective of planting the bomb so in DE_ maps there is no excuse for spawn camping. Vice-versa on CS_ maps, Counter-Terrorists have to rescue the hostages as an objective so have no reason to spawn camp. This means for example you cannot sit at T spawn on de_dust2 with an AWP waiting to pick people off as this is unsporting & also just plain annoying.

Also in addition to the community rules and the Counter-Strike: Source rules, the following apply to Counter Strike 1.6:

01) Russian Walking (Jumping in a certain way so no footsteps are heard).

Punishments:

Minor / First Offence – 1 week ban from all Servers
Second Offence – 1 month ban from all Servers
Major Offence – Permanent ban from all Servers

We Currently Have a 3 Strike Rule. Rules are there for a reason. if you break the rules on 3 or more occasions then you will be banned permanently from the community. Any other accounts we may think you have will also be banned.

Ban Evasion:

If you are banned on n00bfrag then this has been done for a reason. If you think the ban is wrong or unfair then please protest your ban as calmly as you can. Anyone found using another account to get back on the servers will have their other accounts banned.

These rules are subject to change. This comprehensive listing may not cover every single offence possible. If an offence that is committed does not fall into the remit of these server rules directly or indirectly, the Head Admin team reserve the right to punish the offender accordingly or rule on any case where the offence is not clearly set out within the rules. The ruling of any member of the Head Admin team in any case is deemed final unless otherwise stated.

Thanks, The n00bfrag Team
